Sauna & ANNEX Delivery & Installation

warehouse pallets

We believe that a purchase as important as a new Kirami FinVision sauna or ANNEX module deserves a suitably diligent delivery and installation service, hence here at Kirami UK we have our inhouse installation team and a versatile fleet of vehicles and equipment available to deliver and install throughout the UK and Ireland.

Made in Finland

All Kirami FinVision saunas and ANNEX range modules are manufactured at the Kirami factory in Sastamala, Finland. Manufacturing lead time is 4 to 8 weeks depending on the time of year and products required. We have a departure from Finland every 2 to 4 weeks.  Outdoor saunas are usually shipped to the UK ‘fully constructed’ and in their protective packaging. Once in the UK we distribute across the country from our head office and main storage facility in North Yorkshire.

Free UK Delivery

Delivery is included in the price of all Saunas and ANNEX modules*. We deliver using our own vehicles which are either 4x4’s with trailers, vans or small HGV’s, meaning we can usually get to places others can’t or won’t go. We have a versatile range of options to suit your situation.

*Scottish Highlands & Islands, UK Islands, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland locations are all subject to additional charges. Please ask us for a quote prior to placing your order.

Siting of your sauna

If you know where you would like to site your sauna or ANNEX modules, we request to be provided with two what3words locations for 1) where a vehicle can access and 2) where the sauna is to be located on your property, plus a walk through video or series of photos showing the route between the two locations.

If there are any obstacles or width/height restrictions along the way please notify us of these at this point. Notification of overhead services is also appreciated if you are requiring a crane, telehandler or hiab to lift the sauna from above. A popular and convenient way to send this information is via WhatsApp to our business number 01748 889303

We often advise customers about where the best place to locate a sauna might be so if you would like to discuss this, we can either arrange a visit in person or advise via a video call.

Preparing a Base

Once your order has been placed, you will need to prepare a base which of a suitable size and specification.

A firm and very level base is essential.

Where 2 or more modules are to be connected, it is essential to have a firm base across the whole structure in all directions within a 5mm tolerance.

If the base is not level or suitable we may need to install on a date after delivery which will incur an additional cost.

We are happy to advise you on what sort of base is suitable given your current ground conditions and the products that are due to be installed. On the kirami.com website you will find user manuals for all products. Within these manuals is a section on base preparation and other useful information. Also of help is page 46 of the Sauna Brochure 2024

Ground screws or screw piles are becoming an increasingly popular solution. If you would like to discuss or receive a quote for these please contact us for further information.

Moving and Installing on site

Offloading of your sauna and ANNEX modules is included in your purchase price within a 3m radius of our delivery lorry.

Please advise us if you have a lifting vehicle such as forklift or telehandler on site. We can provide pallet fork extensions and a skilled team to manage the lift and movement of goods.

We will move the sauna from our delivery vehicle to the location you have chosen. If we can lift it off our lorry using the hiab crane and place it within a 3m radius of the vehicle this is ideal. If not, it will be moved either by wheeling it over a paved surface with a hand pallet truck or if over a greater distance we would use a small 4x4 wheeled loader and ground protection boards if required.

Please note our free UK installation service does not include hired in machinery or crane services. Should a telehandler or crane be required we will work with you to achieve a quote and discuss how this cost is covered specific to your order.

The sauna is then commissioned on site on same day as delivery and all packaging removed from site.

Electric, Water & Drainage Considerations

It is the customers responsibility to provide electric connections to the property, if required.

The small Misty sauna in standard 6.8kW heater format requires a single phase connection. If you would prefer 3 phase please ask at the time of ordering.

A 3 phase power supply is required for electric heaters over 9kW. Single phase 6kW output heaters are available in the medium size saunas by request.

Wood-fired saunas and ANNEX modules each require a 13A electric connection for the LED lights only.

Water for shower units requires a ½” hosepipe connection.

Drainage can be a soak away or connected to mains drain. The volume of water from washing a sauna out is minimal. Shower waste water volume will depend on the usage situation.

Important Delivery and Installation Considerations

  • It is the customers responsibility to provide the appropriate information at the time of purchase so that installation can be confirmed as being included or quoted accurately and resources made available accordingly.
  • It is at the installation team leader’s discretion as to how far they can safely move a tub, sauna or Annex module on your property. If the resources made available within the invoiced installation service are insufficient, we reserve the right to deliver as per the invoice or pass on to the customer any additional costs incurred where necessary.
  • The Health, Safety and Wellbeing of all people involved in the delivery with the exception of our directly employed staff, is entirely at the risk of the customer.
