4°C to 40°C Air Source Heating or Cooling Option

Add the Dualex heat pump to your wood-fired hot tub package. 

Your tub can be used with the wood-fired heater and/or the Dualex air source heat pump. For fast heating use the wood-fired heater, for easily controlled, efficient heating or cooling from 4°C to 40°C use the air source heat pump. 

Our air source heat pump can be used as a complete alternative to the wood-fired heater if preferred. Heating time will be a little longer than the wood-fired heater but you will gain precise control of temperature and the ability to cool water down to 4°C even in the height of summer.

The air-source heat pump is a complete system that includes cooling and heating functions, a circulating water pump, a filter, ozone purification, and a control panel. The device has a heat transfer capacity of approximately 4 to 5 kW, and the filter operates whenever the device is on. The estimated cooling or heating time is about 8°C per hour in the Tiny tub, while in larger M sized tubs, it is 4 to 5 °C per hour. The largest L sized tub see this reduce to 2 to 3°C per hour.

Air source heat pump package includes the air source heat pump, castor wheels, filter housing and cartridge, ozone generator, all required connection pipework and tub connection fittings.

230V 13Amp electric supply is the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a qualified electrician to install as suitable supply in an outdoor environment.
