Do you like a dip in refreshing water on a hot day, to cool down between sessions in the sauna or like to enjoy the feeling you get from winter swimming? Then a Kirami dippy tub is the answer. The Woody Tiny Dippy has the same gracefully elegant design as the Original Woody Tiny, but it comes without a heater, making it a cold water tub only. Enjoy an invigorating dip by yourself or with another!
A Woody Tiny Dippy is the smallest tub in our range made of solid wood. It is a suitable choice for smaller gardens, small yards and . The size of the hot tub and its new shape make the Woody Tiny Dippy perfect for couples, solo bathers or situations where water consumption needs to be kept to a minimum.
The new dippy tub model was introduced in early March 2022. This cold tub does not come with a heater.
The outer shell is made out of North American wood with an excellent rot resistance. In time, the wood will become a beautiful silvery grey, a natural occurence with Red Cedar wood.
It is suitable for 1-2 people.
It is important with all hot tubs to be placed on an even surface that can bear the whole weight of the tub once full of water. This foundation must be level, which can be achieved with various aggregates such gravel, stone and concrete.
When placing the hot tub consider possible places to drain your bathing water too. If needed you can lead off the water with an outlet hose.
During wintertime, when the tub is not in use please ensure the tub is emptied of all water. If water is left in the tub during winter there is a risk of freezing temperatures, which can cause your bathing water to freeze and expand which can cause the drainage pipe to crack.
The bottom plugs and exhaust valves need to be left open so that any water collected to the tub will discharge.
If you are wanting to use your tub over a couple of days during the wintery season you must try to maintain sufficient heat in your water to avoid it freezing. This may mean using an insulated cover and monitoring the water temperature in case of a drop to freezing temperature.
In order to help keep the hot tub clean you can buy a model-specific cover. You can also take care of the cleanliness and hygiene of the tub by washing and drying it carefully and often.
Washing can be done, with a mild disinfectant. Kirami sells chemicals that can be used for keeping the water clean. When using chemicals, the pH of the water should always be monitored and kept in the given limits, i.e. 7.0-7.6. to test your pH levels you require litmus strips. They are available with a water treatment pack from Kirami.
